What looks obvious today usually took decades of messy iteration, dead ends, and people stubborn enough to keep improving something everyone else thought was good enough
Thank you for this, John. You surface the best stories that teach important innovation lessons. There’s no such thing as the lone genius when it comes to making innovation that’s both useful and a market success. Bravo, and it’s always inspiring to hear stories of other persistent women!
Many thanks, Ellen. I'll keep going with the persistent women stories - there's a lot of them to be told! Was thinking of you as I prepare to head off to ISPIM , hope all is well and all good wishes
Believe me, I’m thinking of all of you as well. I’m totally missing ISPIM this year. Couldn’t make it work since many of my clients had their funding cut this least year (gotta love our ‘friends’ in DC these days) so I’ve been scrambling to find new ways to serve them. Please have fun this year. I’ll miss everyone I know, as well as those I could have met.

…also - I loved your song you posted on LinkedIn. I could like it, but the comments were switched off. Not sure if it’s a setting you did on purpose?

I'll keep you posted, also send some sunshine (of which Andalucia in June has an excess)! All the best j
